French startup launches first LLM built exclusively for ad copy

French startup AdCreative.ai has launched a new large language model build exclusively for advertising.

Named AdLLM Spark, the system was built to craft ad text with high conversion rates on every major advertising platform.

AdCreative.ai said the LLM combines two unique features: instant text generation and accurate performance prediction.

Working with Nvidia, the startup trained the model on real-life ad copy.

The training data encompasses every text generated by AdCreative.ai for its 2,000,000 users. It includes information from eight leading advertising platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Google, YouTube, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Pinterest, and TikTok.

Alongside the ad copy, the dataset contains 840 million lines of instructions, ad texts, and target audiences. It also incorporates performance metrics such as click-through rates (CTRs).

“This comprehensive information enables AdLLM to understand what works on each platform and to predict and craft high-conversion ad texts for any niche, business, or platform,” said Tufan Gok, the CEO of AdCreative.ai.

Gok gave TNW an example of the copy generated by AdLLM:

To predict the CTR of advertising copy, AdLLM applies a metric called the Real World Ad Performance Benchmark.

AdCreative.ai tested the impact on 10,000 real ad texts. According to the company, the system predicted their performance with over 90% accuracy. That’s 60% higher than ChatGPT and at least 70% higher than every other model on the market, the startup said.

Gok has high hopes for the LLM. His company’s AI tools have already gained strong traction in the advertising market. With the addition of AdLLM, the startup plans to enhance the quality of computer-generated copy.

Gok now envisions his startup “leading the AI-driven future” of advertising.
